Losing-cellulite

Looking like the surface of an orange, cellulite is a group of fat cells beneath the surface of the skin, trapped inside the body's tissue itself. Losing cellulite has become a serious issue for many women around the world as most of them develop it to lesser or greater degrees as they mature. Cellulite therapies are plentiful but losing cellulite is not easy and once you have eradicated it, certain aspects of your lifestyle must change to ensure it doesn't return.

Cellulite is more usual on women than men in the main due to the way muscle, connective tissue and fat are distributed in the skin, and as far as women are concerned those specific regions are the thighs, buttocks and tum. This is because women generally have a higher amount of fatty tissue than men. The female hormone, estrogen, plays an important role in the formation, and one of the reasons for cellulite because it induces the storage of fat, which is needed for menstruation, pregnancy, and lactation. There are other causes of cellulite including being fat, but this is not a direct reason although it can make it worse. Pregnancy is another cause because a woman's body goes through shifts like the increased fatty deposits, weight gain and water retention.

It is now generally believed that the easiest way of losing cellulite is to maintain a healthy, reduced fat, high fiber diet with plenty of regular exercise. Tanning often helps because is even believed that cellulite is not noticeable on darker skins. It is still thought that the most frequent reason why some women are more prone to having cellulite is a hormonal imbalance so losing cellulite with plenty of exercise under these circumstances may not be enough. Apart from healthy eating habits and physical exercise, cellulite treatment comprising of a massage, special cellulite burning creams, water therapy and giving up smoking will all help in losing cellulite.

For those individuals who are serious about losing cellulite a technique called liposuction can be used where small incisions are made in the skin and the cellulite is literally sucked up out of the muscles. The fatty deposits are massaged with rollers which combined with the suction, helps to break them down so that the bound water and toxins are removed. Even so, this cellulite therapy is pricey and not a something every woman wants to experience. All the same, cellulite is not an illness or a disease but it highlights a more often than not unhealthy lifestyle. Finding the cause of cellulite in each individual is the first step to treating the cellulite and then hopefully as a method of losing cellulite altogether.
